Students find information about all kinds of mushrooms and then they talk with experts for the mushroom world.
  • They visit places around their area and write down the different species they find.
  • They take pictures of them and then they learn more about them from the internet, encyclopaedias, experts and local communities.
  • Students recognize and learn to distinguish edible mushrooms from poisonous ones.
  • They find out the role of mushrooms in nature and their  recycling capacity.
  • They also learn about the nutritional value of mushrooms and how important they are for the human.
  • They write recipes and cook them in the classroom.
  • They make paintings and crafts based on the mushrooms with the help of experts.
  • Students also share all this with all the partner schools and make together interactive and international "profile" of the mushroom.
