Some words about the project
Students find information about all kinds of mushrooms and then they talk with experts for the mushroom world.
-
They visit places around their area and write down the different species they find.
-
They take pictures of them and then they learn more about them from the internet, encyclopaedias, experts and local communities.

Students recognize and learn to distinguish edible mushrooms from poisonous ones.
-
They find out the role of mushrooms in nature and their recycling capacity.
-
They also learn about the nutritional value of mushrooms and how important they are for the human.
-
They write recipes and cook them in the classroom.
-
They make paintings and crafts based on the mushrooms with the help of experts.
-
Students also share all this with all the partner schools and make together interactive and international "profile" of the mushroom.
